Hey coffee enthusiasts and wellness warriors! Today, let’s chat about a rather unconventional use for our beloved coffee beans – coffee enemas. Now, before you raise an eyebrow, let me assure you that many swear by the detoxifying benefits of this practice. So, if you’re curious and ready to embark on this journey, here’s a simple guide on how to prepare a coffee enema solution in the comfort of your own kitchen.
What You’ll Need:
Coffee Beans: Opt for organic, medium to light roast coffee beans. The key is high-quality coffee without additives or flavorings.
Filtered Water: Pure water without fluoride, chloride and heavy metals ensures a clean and effective solution. Avoid tap water, as we want to keep things as pure as possible.
Pot or Saucepan: For brewing your coffee. Stainless steel or glass works best.
The Brew:
Measurements: Use 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds for 1 litre/1 quart of water.
Brewing: Bring to boil the measured water and the coffee grounds. Once boiled, keep boiling for another 5 minutes (do not cover the pot). After 5 minutes lower the temperature and let it simmer for about 1-215 minutes.
Strain: Once brewed, strain the coffee to remove any remaining grounds. Fine mesh works well.
Cool Down: Allow the solution to cool to room temperature. You definitely don’t want a scalding surprise!
And voila, your coffee solution is ready.
Remember, while coffee enemas have their proponents, it’s crucial to consult with a healthcare professional before incorporating them into your routine. You can also learn more about Coffee Enemas and Herbal Enemas here.
